Middle Eastern hospitality
Here a guest is never just a table number. We look after you the way homes in the Middle East do.
HABIBI Vár · HABIBI 3
Where the city slows down and the story begins.
means my dear in Arabic. That's how we welcome everyone who steps inside.
Here a guest is never just a table number. We look after you the way homes in the Middle East do.
Warm light, soft textiles, hidden corners. Step inside, and the city disappears behind you.
Afternoons below Buda Castle, evenings on Budapest's Broadway. Two different worlds, one kind of welcome.
Below Buda Castle
A few steps from the Chain Bridge – where time stops after a day of sightseeing.
Afternoons and early evenings are for slowing down. A pot of Moroccan Mint Tea poured with ceremony, a dip platter in the middle, and a bowl of goulash soup when sightseeing calls for a proper meal.
On Budapest's Broadway
Near the Opera House, in the heart of the theatre district – where Budapest's 1001 Nights begin.
An evening place – the first and finest stop of your night. On Fridays and Saturdays, a belly dance performance: the art of Middle Eastern dance, up close. Cocktails, Moroccan Mint Tea and a dip platter before the city's night carries on.
Budapest
Both our places sit right where your sightseeing takes you anyway.

On Budapest's Broadway, close to the Opera House.

Tea & coffee
Pick your ritual.
Here, tea and coffee are never an afterthought. Each has its own gesture, its own moment – and its own secret, which we keep to ourselves.

Poured from high above, crowned with foam, brought to your table by the pot. We'll show you the gesture, never the recipe.

Our house speciality, made from freshly grated ginger – warmth with a bite.

Served in a silver cup under its own lid – as befits a jewel box.
